Maintenance Technician Job Carrollton area,Texas USA,Manufacturing / Production

Randstad is actively seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a direct hire position with a leading aluminum extrusion manufacturer in the DFW area. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with solid benefits, growth potential, and a stable work environment.

In this role, you’ll perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on high-speed extrusion equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLCs, working with 480V 3-phase systems, hydraulic/pneumatic repairs, and performing preventive maintenance to keep production running efficiently.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and facility systems.

Troubleshoot and repair 480V 3-phase motors and electrical components.

Diagnose and correct issues with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives).

Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Execute mechanical repairs and component replacements including bearings, belts, chains, gears, and conveyors.

Follow all safety protocols, including proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams.

Document work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory usage.

Collaborate with other departments to support continuous improvement initiatives.
