Warehouse Technician

Company/Location Overview

The forklift operator will be responsible for off‑loading and relocating of products and materials to designated areas as efficiently and timely as possible. Safety is top priority, the role requires constant awareness of work environment, surroundings, and adherence to OSHA regulations, and company policies. Forklift operator will sort, organize, conduct preventive maintenance, and post maintenance of equipment, adhere to forklift operator safety protocols, and report any mishaps or variance of products immediately to management.

Maintains and accounts materials (cargo, gaylords, pallets, bins, etc.) on hand, staged areas and oversee deliveries. In addition, the operator must communicate daily and collaborate with team to achieve departmental goals.

• Maneuvering forklifts safely in busy industrial environments
• Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets
• Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
• Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
• Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions
• Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
• Using industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transport
• Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures
• Consolidating partial pallets for incoming goods

• At least 1 year forklift experience in a manufacturing setting
• Preferred experience in sit‑down, stand‑up forklift industrial trucks in warehouse, storage yards, construction sites or manufacturing and other company sites
• Experience in moving of materials of various loads, large, small, or cumbersome items to pallets and safely transfer to designated areas or as instructed by supervisor
• Familiarity with continuous improvement processes, 5S / lean manufacturing concepts, shift change / task handoff, OSHA safety protocols, GMPs, PPEs

• Must pass background check, drug test, and I‑9 verification
• Must be able to work outside of regular work schedule as required
• Must attend and pass company forklift safety training program
