Assembler – INW:
Innovations in Nutrition and Wellness
This position is primarily responsible for performing repetitive line assembly operations to produce nutritional and personal care products. Reads and interprets product specifications, positions parts, and examines connections for correct fit. Performs repairs as needed and reports errors in the assembly line.
Responsibilities- Rotate through different tasks on assembly line.
- Study and interpret assembly instructions.
- Listen to directions from supervisors.
- Determine if all parts are present.
- Assemble and position tools, materials, and parts or components.
- Interpret measurements.
- Verify specifications.
- Ensure all parts are filled and capped properly.
- Resolve assembly and production issues.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs as needed or notify supervisor for mechanical assistance.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Report errors in the product line.
- Check stock to ensure inventory is replenished.
- Complete quality control forms and other appropriate documentation.
- Notify staff of supplies needs.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and ExperienceLess than high school education; or up to one‑month related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move 10‑50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to risk of vibration. The employee works near moving mechanical parts; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (non‑weather); and extreme heat (non‑weather). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
