Job Summary: The Safety Director at Egnite Electric LLC will lead the company's health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards while promoting a proactive, zero-incident safety culture. This executive-level role will provide strategic oversight and leadership to all safety initiatives, manage the safety team, and collaborate with project managers and field staff to maintain safe work environments.

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve company-wide safety programs and policies.
• Lead and promote a safety-first culture across all projects and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, DOT, EPA, and other applicable regulations.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and job hazard analyses for all active job sites.
• Oversee investigations of incidents, accidents, and near-misses, ensuring corrective actions are applied.
• Supervise and mentor Safety Managers, Coordinators, and Assistants.
• Organize and provide training programs, including new hire orientations and specialized safety certifications.
• Develop emergency response plans and coordinate drills.
• Maintain safety metrics, generate reports, and communicate findings to executive leadership.
• Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and field teams to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
• Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and clients regarding safety compliance.
• Stay informed of industry safety trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5 - 8+ years of safety leadership experience in electrical contracting or construction industries.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA 70E, and industry-specific electrical safety regulations.
• Professional safety certifications preferred: CSP, CHST, OHST, or equivalent.
• Proven ability to manage multi-site safety programs and lead safety teams.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple job sites as needed.
