Your Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and lead a motivated team of automotive sales professionals
  • Mentor your team in best practices for securing deals while driving sales performance
  • Establish sales goals, monitor progress, and inspire your team to achieve and exceed targets
  • Oversee preowned inventory management
  • Collaborate directly with the General Manager
  • Interpret and understand departmental accounting documents
  • Uphold exceptional sales and customer service standards
  • Ensure compliance with General Motors required standards

Ideal Qualifications

  • Proven experience in dealership management
  • Extensive knowledge managing preowned inventory
  • Strong acquisition skills in acquiring inventory through the auction, the service lane and aggressively prospecting for trades
  • Energetic and enthusiastic presence throughout the sales workday
  • Goal-oriented and friendly demeanor, especially in negotiations
  • Detail oriented with sharp problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent customer service, communication, computer and basic math capabilities
  • Clean driving record with a valid Texas driver’s license
  • Foundation knowledge of accounting principles
