Walmart is hiring for Custodian II role at our Carrollton, TX location.

As a Custodian, you ll play a vital role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers and associates. Your dedication to cleanliness and attention to detail will contribute to a positive shopping experience and foster a sense of pride in our facilities.

Job Duties Include:

• Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates).
• Detail clean (for example, sweep, mop, clean spills) office, restrooms, and/or warehouse areas.
• Maintain (for example, stock, clean, organize) and record inventory of required cleaning tools and supplies, including janitorial or supply closets and carts.
• Stock, clean, and maintain vending and soda machines.
• Mix chemicals used for equipment or cleaning.
• Operate and maintain sweeper/scrubber to sweep and mop warehouse floors.

An individual must be proficient in each of the competencies listed below to successfully perform the responsibilities of this position:

• Safely and correctly performs facility upkeep activities, such as cleaning and maintaining internal areas, and reports any unsafe conditions, poor products, or improper service procedures to management.
• Provides excellent customer service by showing care and concern for customers, asking questions to understand their needs, and using policies and resources to resolve requests.
• Makes effective choices using policies, procedures, and data, and involves others as needed to resolve problems.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
