Responsible for providing outstanding support to Lawton Commercial Services and works out of the Carrollton, Texas office. The Warehouse Technician is responsible for ordering and tracking parts inventory levels for all departments, assist with projects as needed, deliver parts and material to job sites and ensure all LSC vehicles are inspected and tagged properly. Ensures that all LCS vehicles are properly maintained inside and out to include scheduling regular oil changes and maintenance for all LCS vehicles.
Will perform Bi-Weekly truck and equipment inspections for all Carrollton Divisions. The ideal candidate must possess a high level of attention to detail, ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. A friendly, positive attitude that’s willing to go above and beyond are critical to being successful in this role.
- Interact with management, suppliers, vendors and technicians, and provide outstanding support that includes but is not limited to:
- Intake and manage all incoming inventory
- Deliver parts and materials to job sites
- Prepare trucks with required items for all assigned technicians
- Pull materials for specific jobs
- Maintain a clean, neat and orderly warehouse
- Schedule Bi-Weekly Truck and Equipment inspections
- Schedule and assist with fleet maintenance
- Ensure all LCS Vehicles are inspected and properly Tagged at all times
- Maintain employee uniform rental accounts
- Assist Operation Managers and Fleet Manager with vehicle camera and Geotab compliance
- Assist with safety meetings and documentation of topics and attendance
- Other duties as required
Education, Experience, Knowledge:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and other company provided software with minimal supervision
- Ability to operate desktop computers and phone system
- Ability to speak and communicate with others to convey information effectively
- Possess a service orientation by actively looking for ways to help people
- Ability to work in both climate controlled and outside environments
- This is a full-time, forty (40) hours per week, non-exempt position that is eligible for overtime with prior manager approval
