• Develop individualized care plans with specific, measurable goals, objectives, and interventions tailored to each patient.
• Contribute to treatment planning by providing feedback to nursing and program staff to facilitate therapeutic interventions.
• Provide guidance to nursing staff regarding activity-related groups.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to setting activity therapy goals for patients.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Recreational, Music, Art Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Licensure or certification according to state practice guidelines.
• CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment.
• Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting, with preferred experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients.
