Our Sales Application Engineer supports the Sales Team through coordination of engineering efforts and pricing. They are the main point of contact for the Regional Sales Managers, field application questions and concerns, guide projects through the production process, and create designs/drawings to support the sales process. This is an onsite position at our Carrollton, Texas headquarters

• Work with Regional Sales Managers to provide engineering support as well as costing for projects.
• Determine feasibility of product proposal/specifications.
• Support and advise our distributor network on equipment specifications.
• Coordinate the creation of prototype products.
• Analyze customers’ specifications to determine if product design meets requirements.
• Clarify and resolve issues, develop designs, and prepare design modifications as required.
• Manage projects, from start through completion.
• Document and track project needs.
• Create design drawings to properly document project needs.
• Use engineering / design software to perform engineering and design tasks.
• Evaluate test results for possible application to development of systems or other uses.

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of electro/mechanical sales applications support.
• Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects.
• Experience with 3-D modeling using Inventor.
• Significant “hands on the product” experience with ability to recognize problems, predict potential outcomes, and implement countermeasures to avoid problems.
• Ability to drive project to completion.
