Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections, hazard assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and OSHA regulations
  • Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training for field and office personnel
  • Investigate incidents, near-misses, and safety concerns, and develop corrective and preventive action plans
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to promote proactive safety planning
  • Review job hazard analyses, safety plans, and project-specific safety documentation
  • Provide coaching and guidance to project teams to reinforce a strong safety culture
  • Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and compliance documentation
Qualifications
  • Five or more years of experience in construction safety, environmental health and safety, or a related field
  • OSHA 30-Hour construction Safety certification required; OSHA 510 or similar training preferred
  • Professional safety certifications such as CSP, ASP, or CHST are a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in active construction environments and travel between project sites as needed
