The Role
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Logistics Department including but not limited to overseeing daily operations of shipping/receiving processes, fleet operations, 3rd party warehouse partners and supporting production.

Job Description
Key responsibilities for this role include:
* Manage inventory, warehousing, transportation and other logistics processes.
* Manages shipping / receiving functions to ensure all orders are shipped on-time in a manner that meets all safety, environmental, and DOT regulations and site procedures. Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, RMA processes and ensure timely and accurate inventory receipts and reconciliation.
* Manage bulk ISO container fleet assigned to location for movement of liquid raw and finished good materials for production and customer sites.
* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing logistics and warehouse team to meet departmental goals.
* Drive adoption of SAP ERP system best practices and ensure data integrity across logistics department.
* Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Manage logistics forecasts, support future capital planning and warehouse capacity expansion.
* Partner cross-functionality with Logistics, Fleet Management, Supply Chain, Production, Sales and Quality to ensure alignment and synergy across all locations.
* Leads the team to enhance safety focus, 5S, and Lean Initiatives.
* Further logistics knowledge by participating in training opportunities.
* Manage local FEUS fleet CDL drivers, as required
* Standard hours, M-F 8AM-5PM
* Response to after-hours/weekend events required on a case-by-case basis.
* Capable of lifting 50lbs.
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in warehouse management within the chemicals industry or related field
* Strong understanding of chemical safety regulations and best practices in chemical handling and storage
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Strong written and verbal communications skills
* Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Proven organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a multi-tasking arena.
* Extensive knowledge in logistics processes, inventory control, customer service, warehousing, etc.
* Extensive experience working in SAP regarding inventory and warehouse management.
* Forklift experience.
* Haz Mat experience required.
* IATA/IMDG/DOT certification preferred
* Export experience and certification preferred
* This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
