Product Procurement Administrator
Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Product Procurement Administrator to manage our order processing operations. Ultimately, the role of the Product Procurement Administrator is to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time to maintain customer satisfaction.
The responsibilities will include:
- Receiving orders via phone and email
- Verifying product availability
- Processing all paperwork in Quickbooks Desktop
- Arranging shipping within U.S. and to other countries
- Updating order records with statuses, charges, and customer information.
The ideal candidate would be:
- Experienced in customer service, order management, inventory control, and working in a warehouse
- They should possess excellent communication skills
- Strong understanding of supply chain procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Process, fulfill, and track customer orders using order management software
- Check product inventory and check shipping supplies availability. Order product and supplies for fulfillment.
- Update and maintain accurate records of orders, payments, and customers
- Address customer queries related to order delivery, charges, and product information
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to handle orders and provide customer service
- Comply with company policies and regulations
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
- Oversee all bagging machine operations to include training and scheduling operators
- Proven work experience as a Product Procurement Administrator, warehouse fulfillment or similar role
- Experience with order management software and databases.
- Quickbooks Desktop a bonus.
- Strong knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures well
- Ability to work in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or relevant field is a plus
- Hours:
25 to 30 hours a week - Pay: $22-25/hour
- Schedule:
Flexible for 9-3, 10-4 and possibly other times are OK
