Objective
Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the hospice agency. Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
Principal Responsibilities- Census list (daily)
- IDG Open and closing
- Filing
- Scan and upload
- Prepare CC folders
- Prepare Admission binders
- Primary phones
- Referral processing/tracking using checklist
- Admission emails to facilities along with all admission paperwork/DNR
- Discharge emails to facilities
- Staffing agency visit uploads if needed
- Bereavement (clerical duties)
- MESAVs to facilities monthly—Copy to Administrator
- OIG/NAR/EMR monthly checks
- Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or assigned at any time with or without notice.
- Hospice experience as a nurse aide or medical assistant preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office:
Word and Excel - Presents professional image through appearance, behavior and speech.
