LHH is seeking an Accounting Manager on behalf of a confidential client for a high-impact leadership role within a growing, multi-location organization. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys partnering with the business, leading teams, and strengthening financial processes in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical accounting foundation, a continuous-improvement mindset, and the ability to support stakeholders across multiple operational locations.
Job Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the general ledger, including oversight of assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and related financial reporting
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial statements and supporting schedules
- Partner with operations and leadership by providing financial guidance in a multi-location environment
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a small team of accounting professionals
- Support internal and external audit activities, including preparation of documentation and responses
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency
- Assist senior accounting leadership with special projects, research, and ad hoc analyses
- Perform additional duties and projects as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people management or supervisory experience
- Experience supporting multi-location organizations preferred; large and/or public company experience strongly preferred
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial statements, and internal controls
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive operational efficiencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with Workday GL or other large ERP systems preferred
