Store Manager in Training; MIT

• Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when Store Ops Manager (GM) is not present.
• Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members engaged in cookie sales and customer deliveries.
• Lead onboarding and initial training for new hourly staff.
• Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires (Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders, Delivery Drivers) in the manager's absence.
• Support Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling.
• Ensure staff adherence to Insomnia Cookies' standards (baking, uniform, policies, etc.).
• Drive upselling and ensure overall customer service excellence, including team member performance.

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail store
• Experience conducting in-person interviews for hourly support staff
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Applicant Tracking Systems
• Availability to work a 4-5 day work week with 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thurs-Sun)
• Must be 18+ years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
