Our nurse residents meet monthly for 12 months, supporting our newest licensed staff during the first year of employment. The program pairs hands-on training in a clinical setting with classroom instruction, online coursework, and mentoring from our nursing experts. A variety of topics and Tanner policies are discussed to help residents implement best practices for nursing.
Cohorts begin in March and September.
The Nursing Tech/Graduate RN performs basic nursing care and procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
Education
Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework
Licenses & Certifications
* Healthcare Provider (CPR)
Qualifications
* Master, Bachelor, or Associate of Science in Nursing or graduate of approved diploma program.
* Will verify degree within 6 weeks of conferment.
* Required to pass boards within 6 months of receiving MSN, BSN, ASN, or diploma.
* BLS required within 30 days of hire.
