Job SummaryThe Assistant Professor of Finance will have an initial assignment that may include teaching finance at both undergraduate and graduate levels, course and/or curriculum development, research/scholarship, participation in department, college, and university committees/initiatives, and other assigned duties. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in investments, corporate finance, and possibly financial institutions.
Responsibilities- Teach three (3) classes per semester, with a mix of face-to-face, hybrid, and 100% online courses.
- Conduct scholarly work and engage in professional activities in line with Scholarly Academic guidelines.
- Engage in service activities as required.
- The Chair may assign other duties.
Doctorate from an AACSB-accredited business school in Finance, or a closely related field. ABD considered if degree is conferred by July 31, 2025.
Preferred QualificationsProfessional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, CIMA, CPA), prior teaching experience in an AACSB-accredited institution, relevant business experience, and a record of research and publication in academic journals.
SalarySalary commensurate with experience.
