Job SummaryThis temporary position supports the Gift Processing Specialist in managing the accounts receivable and gift processing functions for the University of West Georgia Foundation and the UWG Athletic Foundation. The role is responsible for assisting with receipting, recording, and acknowledging incoming gifts from various channels to ensure accurate fund allocation.
ResponsibilitiesHigh School / GED;
High School diploma and four years of experience in accounting work, preferably nonprofit accounting; or an Associate's degree in accounting or a related field. Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications with strong skills in Word and Excel. Extensive data entry experience and the ability to organize data in a consistent and logical method. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Ability to execute complex assignments with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize clerical errors and omissions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to meet frequent deadlines, work under stressful conditions, and work effectively in a service-oriented environment.
Preferred Educational
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with constituent relationship management applications, especially Raiser’s Edge or other Blackbaud products; experience preferably in nonprofit accounting.
$21.73 hourly. Paid on a bi-weekly basis.

Ability to organize data in a consistent and logical method with strong attention to detail. Ability to execute complex clerical assignments to completion, recognizing obvious clerical errors and omissions. Ability to work with a wide variety of people and to represent the Foundations professionally with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
