Position Title:
Licensed Electrician (50 hours/ week)
Location:
Carroll, IA 51401
Clearance Requirements: NA
Mode:
Onsite (Monday - Friday) 7 AM - 5 PM
Pay Rate:
Contract - 6 Months
Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Iowa Electrician to support a long-term project at a food processing facility. This role requires a dependable, hands-on electrician who arrives on time, follows safety protocols, and is committed to consistent work. Foreman or lead experience is not required; however, an active Iowa electrical license is mandatory, as a licensed electrician must be present on site.
Work Environment:
* Facility processes pork products, but work will not take place on the production floor or near food handling areas
* No live animals are present at the facility
* Work will be performed primarily on rooftops and in electrical rooms
Key Responsibilities:
* Install and run cable trays
* Perform demolition of electrical equipment
* Support electrical controls and Motor Control Center (MCC) work
* Follow all job site safety standards and electrical codes
* Coordinate with site supervisors and project teams as needed
Requirements:
* Active Iowa Electrical License (required)
* Reliable working electrician (foreman or lead experience not required)
* Strong attendance and punctuality
* Ability to work safely at heights and in electrical rooms
* Commitment to the full project duration
* Some weekend work may be required as the project progresses
