We are recruiting an experienced Architectural Estimator to lead and develop the estimating function for a growing aluminium fabrication business based in Walsall, West Midlands
.

This role focuses on pricing and delivering large-scale aluminium windows, aluminium doors, curtain walling and shopfront systems across commercial and façade projects.

• Prepare competitive quotations for aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling and shopfront systems
• Analyse architectural drawings, specifications and tender documents
• Undertake value engineering and specification optimisation
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors (glass, hardware, aluminium systems)
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations

• Use Logikal estimating software and similar technical systems
• Interpret technical drawings accurately
• Liaise with factory and production teams to ensure accurate cost calculations
• Support projects from tender stage through to manufacture

• Liaise with architects, contractors, local authorities and clients
• Manage multiple tenders simultaneously
• Maintain organised documentation and estimating records

• Proven experience as an Architectural Estimator / Aluminium Estimator / Façade Estimator
• Strong background in aluminium fabrication or fenestration estimating
• Proficient using Logikal or similar estimating software
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Experience pricing curtain walling and shopfront systems

Desirable:

• CAD knowledge
• Experience with in aluminium or uPVC window manufacturing
• Background in façade or building envelope projects
