Furniture Lab’s team is growing. We are a small business that provides big commercial dining solutions nationwide. Our work spans cafeterias at Fortune 500 companies to college dining facilities. In our downtown Carrboro headquarters, every role, responsibility, and contribution is critical to our growth and success. In our new year-round showroom at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, we bring our unique solutions to the world.

Today, we are seeking a new Project Manager to join our Operations Team. Our ideal candidate fits in the described environment and is a smart, well-organized, solutions-based problem solver with attention to detail. We will prioritize candidates with B2B project management experience, customer service experience, and a college degree. An understanding of the contract furniture industry is a plus but not required.
As a Project Manager at Furniture Lab, you'll have the opportunity to work creatively, problem-solve, and contribute to our mission of delivering cutting-edge commercial dining solutions. Your role is pivotal in strengthening client relationships, ensuring the seamless execution of projects that drive our company forward and uphold our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities- Manage projects from completion of sale through installation.
- Actively manage supply chain through engagement with partner factories and freight providers.
- Manage service tickets (diagnose and resolve) through direct engagement with customers and factories.
- Assist Furniture Lab Sales Team with timely and accurate information.
- Ensure customer’s needs are met through lifecycle of project.
- Prioritize candidates with B2B project management experience, customer service experience, and a college degree.
- Understanding of the contract furniture industry is a plus but not required.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
