• Read and write English, interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, 45 pounds frequently, and 60 pounds occasionally.

• Maintain and stock assigned store sections, using appropriate equipment.
• Ensure correct pricing, verify product date codes, and maintain proper rotation.
• Prepare perishable products for sale.

• Maintain sanitation standards for interior, exterior, and parking areas.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers and provide current store and product information.
• Assist customers in loading purchases into vehicles.
