Job Summary
Rate of Pay: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour (paid weekly)
Overtime Rate: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
2nd Shift
Schedule:
Monday through Friday; 3:45pm to 12:15am. Overtime is always available; paid breaks.
- The primary tasks of the Fabrication Welder involve building machine frames and components out of structural steel, followed by tearing down completed machines to prepare for transport.
- MIG welding and fabrication of machine frames and components that consist of light gauge sheet metal to heavy gauge tube, flat bar, and I-Beam.
- Fabricating industrial ovens, safety guarding, vacuum tanks, swing doors, fan brackets, and catwalks.
- Grinding and finishing completed products.
- Perform quality checks on finished components.
- Installing finished components into machine structures.
- Disassembling machines for painting and shipping.
- Material handling with sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Training and teaching provided to learn a new trade.

- MIG welding and/or fabrication experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints. (or ability to learn).
- Experience with saws, shears, drill presses, forklifts, and cranes is a plus.
