Maker’s Pride is looking for a Sanitation Technician I for the 3rd shift to support our production line in Carol Stream, IL.

The Sanitation Technician follows procedures and SOPs to clean production equipment, ensuring safety and hygiene, records activity, and communicates progress or issues to the supervisor.

• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing idle production equipment.
• Perform wet washes of rooms and production lines.
• Complete required reporting to reflect activity.
• Notify supervisor when supplies need to be ordered.

The following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least six months of experience in a sanitation production environment preferred.

• Work third shift; regularly stand; occasional sit, walk, stoop, or crouch; may work on multi-level facilities with stairs.
• Occasionally lift/ move 45-50 pounds with hoist, pallet jack, or cart; regularly lift up to 15 pounds.
• Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.

• Communicate and follow direction from Sanitation Group Lead and/or Sanitation Supervisor.

• Multi-shift production operations; noisy, wet/humid; temperature varies from refrigerated to ambient to warm in summer.

Starting pay: $19.60/hr (base); shift differential offered for 3rd shift duties; pay may vary by location and experience.

Eligible for discretionary annual incentive; benefits begin on day 90 of employment.
