Full-time Elementary Classroom Aide 4th/5th Grade at Outreach Carol Stream to assist lead teachers in supervising students during our summer program.

• Staff Training – June 1 to June 5 (MANDATORY)
• Program Dates – June 8 to July 31
• Program Schedule – Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

• $16.50 - $18.00/hour - Based on education, experience, and language ability.

• The Elementary Classroom Aide will assist lead teachers in supervising 4th/5th grade students in educational curriculum, Christian education, life skill building, problem-solving, and recreational activities.
• The Elementary Classroom Aide will work classes averaging between 15 and 20 students.

• A passion for working with elementary-age students.
• Classroom or group experience with children.
• Some early childhood education or elementary education coursework is preferred.
• Experience with and sensitivity to the needs of students from low-income, high-risk families.
• Bilingual (Spanish/ English) is a plus.
• A commitment to Outreach's Statement of Mission & Faith.
