Regional Generator Engineer

As a subdivision of GAP Pump Services, GAP Power Solutions provides advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for our Stage V generator fleet, including associated ancillaries. Our range includes generators, fuel tanks, cables and MDU/AMF panel power solutions.

As a Regional Generator Engineer you will play a pivotal role in the success of the region by ensuring that our customers can hire what they want, when they need it through the efficient servicing and maintaining a variety of power services & equipment within the GAP fleet.

As part of our high‑performing regional team, you will be responsible for traveling across our customer sites to identify and repair any faults or damage to equipment including Stage V generators, AMF/MDU and distribution & cable, while accurately updating service records.

Location Note – this role will be based out of our depot in Carnforth. Candidates should be suitably located.

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

• Proven experience within a diesel generator engineer role is essential
• Sound and current knowledge of Stage V diesel engines and generators is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• A customer‑focussed approach, workload management and committed team player
• A valid driving licence is essential
