Security Officer - Residential Patrol in Carmel, IN. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. This is a Part-Time Security Officer role with a driving component, requiring you to operate a vehicle while remaining visible throughout the location. You will interact with residents and guests, providing outstanding customer service and communication, while being part of a team that values integrity, innovation, and putting people first.

What You ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols for residential locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe for unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any incidents, maintenance issues, or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Work collaboratively with property management and/or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to assist residents and guests and help deter potential disturbances.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
