Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Carmel, IN, requiring BLS, NRP, and a minimum of 1 year of L&D experience.

Job Details

• 8-bed Labor & Delivery unit with 3 triage rooms, 2 OR suites, and 4 antepartum (ATP) rooms,

• Nurses circulate their own C-sections in the OR,

• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM,

• 36 hours per week (full-time),

• Rotating holidays and every third weekend required,

Job Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required,

• BLS certification required (AHA only),

• NRP certification required (AHA/AAP),

• ACLS certification preferred (AHA only),

• Fetal monitoring certification required - AWHONN, Relias, or equivalent within the past 2 years if not covered on competency exam,

• NRP Advanced preferred (AHA/AAP),

• Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required,

• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address,

• Two professional references required,

• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration,

• Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating multi-disciplinary care, and carrying out physician and nursing orders,

• Discharge planning coordination is part of the role,

• Local candidates are accepted; candidates living within the facility's radius are eligible but may qualify for a different pay rate,

• COVID vaccination is not required,
