Business Intelligence Analyst (Hybrid) - Carmel, IN (Corporate Office) Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights, helping our organization make informed decisions, and driving business growth. This position reports to the Director, Solutions Engineering and takes technical direction and mentoring from other lead team members.
Specific Responsibilities- Reporting and Dashboards:
Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Looker, Databricks) to visualize data and facilitate decision-making - Legacy Support:
Create, maintain, extend and migrate legacy reports using tools such as SSRS to modern platforms such as Looker or Databricks - Data Visualization:
Create compelling visualizations that effectively communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders - Data Integration:
Work with IT and data engineering teams to access and integrate data from various systems and databases - Documentation:
Maintain documentation of data analysis processes, report specifications, and data definitions - Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with BI trends and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements. Support for AI Adoption, Agentic AI, and Data Lake utilization - Data Requirements Validation:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs, and translate those needs into actionable deliverables
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker, Databricks, or similar visualization tools.
- Experience with legacy tools such as SSRS
- Strong SQL skills for data retrieval and manipulation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and understandable manner
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, ) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong teamwork is a must
- Resilience and resourcefulness
- High energy with self-motivation
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Technology-related certifications a plus
- 1+ years of experience with Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing systems
- 1+ years of experience with BI dashboard development
- 1+ years of experience with SQL
- Experience with standard tools such as the Atlassian product suite, AWS, and/or Azure Dev Ops
