We are seeking an experienced Senior S/4
HANA Order-to-Cash (OTC) Architect to lead large‑scale, end‑to‑end SAP transformation programs. This role demands a builder‑leader approach: you will own the solution blueprint, drive integration with complex adjacent platforms (EWM, TM, IBP, BTP), while also actively configuring, prototyping, and guiding build teams
. Your ultimate goal is to ensure business outcomes, performance, and compliance at scale from discovery through hyper‑care.
- Core OTC / SD: Expert configuration of Business Partner (BP) setup, sales organization models, and all standard processes: quotations, orders, deliveries, billing, intercompany, third‑party sales, consignment, returns, and debit/credit memos.

Conditions:
Advanced pricing and condition techniques, including the setup and configuration of S/4 Condition Contracts for rebates and settlements, scales, and exclusions. - Fulfillment & aATP: Deep practical knowledge of Advanced Available‑to‑Promise (aATP), including configuration of substitutions, allocations (PAL), and Backorder Processing (BOP). Must understand supply assignment alignment with planning tools (IBP).
- Logistics Integration: Seamless integration of O2C with modern Logistics modules, including EWM (embedded/decentralized) for picking/packing and TM for freight units and charge integration.
- Billing & Risk: Configuration of SD billing and Fiori billing applications, tight integration with FI,
FSCM Credit Management (scoring, exposure, checks), and exposure to tax engines (e.g., Vertex/Thomson). - Integration & Extensibility: Hands‑on experience defining integration using SAP Integration Suite (CPI) for EDI/3PL providers, IDoc/OData/API management, and designing BTP side‑by‑side extensions (RAP/CAP) and Fiori/UI5 applications.
- Architecture Ownership: Own the OTC architecture across all phases of transformation programs (Greenfield/Brownfield/Selective Data Transition), leading design reviews and managing key decision logs.
- Hands‑On Delivery: Personally configure critical areas (pricing, aATP, credit, delivery/billing) and rapidly build prototypes to validate fit‑to‑standard versus required extensions.
- Integration Design: Drive complex integration designs with Logistics (EWM/TM), Planning (IBP), Finance, and external 3PL/EDI providers. Define robust monitoring, error handling, and operational runbooks.
- Data & Quality Governance: Define the cutover strategy, reconciliation plans (for BP, pricing, open orders/billing), and establish key operational KPIs and dashboards
. - Quality & Dev Ops: Champion quality standards, lead code/config peer reviews, manage transport governance, and define the test automation strategy (e.g., using Tosca).
- Leadership: Lead E2E process design (Lead‑to‑Cash), mentor consultants, support pre‑sales, and enforce delivery excellence across the team.
Preferred Qualifications Non‑Negotiable Requirements
- Experience:
15+ years of SAP experience with 7+ years focused on S/4
HANA OTC/SD (Public, Private Cloud, or On‑Premise). - Leadership: Must have led 3+ end‑to‑end S/4 implementations as the OTC Solution or Enterprise Architect.
- Deep Configuration: Expert, hands‑on configuration skills in SD (pricing/conditions, order types, intercompany, returns) and aATP (substitutions/allocations).
- Integration & Ecosystem: Strong practical exposure to EWM/TM integration
, FSCM Credit Management
, tax engines, and hands‑on integration with SAP Integration Suite (CPI). - Data Expertise: Proven experience leading cutover and migration for OTC objects (BP, customer master, pricing/credit, open documents) and managing finance touchpoints.
- Communication: Excellent executive‑level stakeholder management with VP/CXO audiences
; proven ability to produce crisp documentation. - Location: Must be willing to relocate to Carmel, IN or Atlanta, GA

- Experience with Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR), including policy design.
- Exposure to RISE with SAP
, hyperscalers (Azure/AWS/GCP), and Cloud ALM. - Industry depth in Manufacturing, CPG, Life Sciences, or Automotive.
- Knowledge of Global Trade Services (GTS) or S/4 International Trade.
