Overview
Diagnostic Radiology Technologist position located at North Hospital. Full‑time, 3:30p – 11:30p Monday – Friday. On‑call and holidays required.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures for radiological diagnosis in a timely fashion while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric.
- Follow physician's instructions, prepare and operate equipment and position patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images.
- Treat patients with care and respect.
- Basic Life Support certification, required.
- Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
- Active status as a Registered Technologist – Radiography, RT(R), through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a recent graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible). If board eligible, must obtain credential in Radiography within 6 months of hire.
- Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as a Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit.
