I’m partnering with a well-established, civil engineering firm that is continuing to grow its land development practice. The Senior Land Development Engineer will play a key role in leading and delivering private and public land development projects
, mentoring junior staff, and partnering closely with clients and internal leadership.
- Lead and manage land development projects from concept through construction
- Prepare and oversee site civil design, including:
Grading, Drainage and stormwater systems, Utilities, Erosion and sediment control. - Coordinate with local municipalities, counties, and reviewing agencies
- Oversee permitting and entitlement processes
- Provide technical mentorship to engineers and designers
- Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of land development experience
- Strong knowledge of site civil design and local permitting processes
- Experience managing projects and working directly with clients
- Prior leadership or mentoring experience preferred
