Indiana University Health Medical Group has an exciting new opportunity to be a part of Indiana University Health Medical Group OBGYN-North.
We are seeking to add an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife
to our collaborative care team. Our practice thrives on the collaboration between our skilled healthcare professionals, including physicians and advanced practice providers, who work together to deliver comprehensive and personalized care.
- Full Time
- Rotating- Sample Week:
Day 1- 24-hour inpatient care (postpartum rounding, triage, labor management of low-risk OB patients) 2 outpatient 8-hour clinic days
- Sample Week:
- Call Schedule
- Inpatient call once every 6 days
Procedures:
- Vaginal delivery, episiotomy with repair, repair of 1st & 2nd degree lacerations
- Assist MD in cesarean sections.
- GYN procedures such as endometrial biopsy and pap smears
Key Responsibilities:
- Certified Nurse Midwife to provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care across inpatient and ambulatory settings.
- Patient Population
- Adolescents and woman of all ages seeking OBGYN care - Managing antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and well-woman care
- Diagnosing and coordinating all aspects of the birthing process
- Delivering ambulatory gynecological services
Qualifications:
- Certified Nurse Midwife
- 1 Year experience preferred
- Previous work experience within a health system delivering both ambulatory and inpatient care
- Strong knowledge base of both OB management and Gyn care
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Being a team player
