The renovation associate requires a hard-working and reliable employee to join the BAM Construction team. The ideal candidate will participate in a variety of construction projects and follow construction plans and instructions from the site supervisor. Experience in the industry is not essential, but applicants will have to be physically fit and a fast learner, as is in line with the essential functions of the position.

To be successful, any applicant will need to work well as part of a team, have a desire to understand the construction industry, and be a go-getter.

• Demo Day: Safely removing old carpet, appliances, and fixtures to prep units for a fresh look.
• Paint & Patch: Learning the art of professional drywall repair and high-speed interior painting.
• Installation Assistance: Helping install new flooring (LVP), kitchen cabinets, and modern light fixtures.
• Detailing: Performing the final "punch list" items—installing outlet covers, cabinet hardware, and ensuring the unit is spotless for a new resident.

• Curb Appeal: Power washing buildings, cleaning up construction debris and assisting with all manner of exterior repairs.
• Seasonal Projects: Helping with exterior painting and basic landscaping repairs as needed.

• Able to work in a team
• The "Right" Attitude:
  You take pride in your work, you're eager to learn, and you aren't afraid to get your hands dirty.
• Reliability:
  You have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation to get to the job site every day.
• Basic Tools:
  Familiarity with a tape measure, hammer, and screwdriver.
• Communication:
  Ability to follow instructions clearly and maintain a polite, professional attitude around our residents.
• Physical Ability:
  Must be able to lift 70+ lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Experience:
  
  0–2 years in construction, landscaping, or general labor.
• High school diploma or GED preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and at job sites can be loud.
