Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Contract Negotiations: develop & execute strategies to secure favorable terms and manage risk.
  • Draft & Execute Contracts: manage various agreements (MSAs, SaaS, consulting, SOWs, etc.).
  • Risk & Compliance: ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal standards.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: work closely with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and senior leadership.
  • Technology & Innovation: champion AI-enabled tools and CLM platforms for process improvement.
  • Performance Monitoring: use data and KPIs to track contract outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Certifications:

    preferred - Certified Professional Contract Manager, Certified Professional in Supply Management, CIPS.
  • Technical skills: contract drafting, negotiation, and risk mitigation expertise; financial modeling and analysis; proficiency in Microsoft 365 and contract management software; experience with AI tools desirable.
Education
  • Bachelor’s of Supply Management (required)
  • Bachelor’s of Finance (required)
  • Bachelor’s of Business Administration (required)
Experience

3–5 years: procurement or contract management with indirect spend focus (required).

Licenses & Certifications
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (preferred)
  • Certified Professional Contract Manager (preferred)

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $90,000–115,000 USD annually. The salary range is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience.

Position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met. At MISO we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), vacation, sick and safe time, available on your first day of employment.
