Accounts Receivable Clerk

Overview

The Tom Wood Group, in Indianapolis, Indiana is currently searching for an Accounts Receivable Clerk
. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of financial responsibilities and supportive functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in day-to-day processes.

Salary: $18 to $22 per hour

• Daily cash and check deposit.
• Daily credit card batch posting.
• Posting of incoming lender/bank funds.
• Generate monthly customer billing statements.
• Generate invoices upon customer request.
• Provide assistance to the account team with general clerical duties, such as data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to support dealership operations as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in completing tasks.
• Dependable with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Basic office skills such as filing, printing, and scanning.
• Familiarity with basic account principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable learning dealership-specific accounting software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members.
