We are recruiting an experienced Assistant Facilities Manager to support the delivery of high quality facilities services at Parc Pensarn, Carmarthen.
Job DescriptionThis role is key in ensuring safe, compliant and well-managed operations across the site, working closely with the Regional Facilities Manager and onsite teams.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Contract Manager and overseeing day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities include a strong focus on the Hard FM stream, covering PPM, reactive maintenance and statutory compliance, in addition to multiple soft service duties such as post, portering and reception.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and support day-to-day FM service delivery across the site – including reception, post and portering.
- Supervise and line manage on-site cleaning and soft facilities teams.
- Maintain accurate operational documentation including audits, safety records and site procedures.
- Support performance reporting, cost control and operational service improvements.
- Provide insight on weekly compliance meetings with the client.
- Ensure customer queries and complaints are logged and resolved promptly.
- Assist in the coordination of planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and on-site stakeholders to ensure high service standards.
- Experience with in Facilities Management or a similar operational environment.
- Strong supervisory and organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
- Good understanding of health & safety, compliance and safe working practices.
- Ability to manage documentation, reporting and FM processes effectively.
- Confident communicator with a proactive, problem‑solving approach.
- Customer focused mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships.
- Full UK driving licence.
