Job Summary
The post is a Band 3 Frailty Support Worker on the Clinical Decisions Unit at Glangwili General Hospital, Carmarthen. The role focuses on caring for frail patients, supporting independence, mobility, nutrition and hydration to maximise functional ability. Interviews planned for 3/2/2026.
- Work alongside nursing and therapies teams; contribute as a good team player while able to work independently.
- Promote patient independence by focusing on mobility, nutrition and hydration.

- NVQ level 3 in Health or equivalent (or demonstrable equivalent).
- Good communication skills; able to work within a team and as an individual.
- Desirable: ability to speak Welsh is advantageous;
English and/or Welsh speakers are welcome. - Recent clinical experience in a relevant healthcare or social care environment.
- Experience of working as part of a team; willingness to attend further training.
- Essential:
Numeracy and literacy to at least GCSE level or equivalent. - Essential:
