Logistics and Shipping Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Logistics & Shipping Coordinator to support our printing and packaging operations. This role will oversee daily shipping and logistics activities, ensure accurate order fulfillment, coordinate with production teams, and manage relationships with freight carriers.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of shipping operations, help optimize logistics processes, and ensure that finished products are delivered accurately and on schedule in a fast‑paced production environment.

• Coordinate and oversee daily shipping operations for finished print products to customers and distributors.
• Verify orders against packing slips, shipment manifests, and job documentation, ensuring accuracy in quantities, SKUs, dimensions, and special handling requirements.
• Manage relationships with shipping carriers including Fed Ex, UPS, LTL, and freight providers.
• Generate and maintain shipping documentation including bills of lading, invoices, and international shipping paperwork.
• Coordinate closely with production, finishing, and management teams to confirm job readiness and shipment schedules.
• Ensure all products are packaged safely and in compliance with shipping requirements.
• Schedule carrier pickups, stage shipments, and track deliveries to ensure on‑time arrival.
• Monitor inventory of shipping and packaging supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed.
• Maintain accurate shipping records within ERP/shipping systems.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory.
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping efficiency, reduce damages, and streamline logistics workflows.

• Experience managing domestic and international shipping operations.
• Experience with Fed Ex, UPS, and freight/LTL carriers.
• 3+ years of shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination experience, preferably within printing, packaging, or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with printing workflows, finishing processes, and packaging requirements for printed materials is preferred.
• Experience working with ERP systems and shipping software.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret packing lists, invoices, and shipping documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse/production environment.
• Bilingual is a plus.
