DescriptionJob Summary:
Electrician/Mechanic repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, bucket elevators, service conveyors and production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision‑measuring and testing instruments:
Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. Reading electrical prints and troubleshooting problems with equipment.
- Examines equipment parts to detect imperfections.
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing meters and instruments.
- Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Installs special functional and structural parts in devices, using hand tools.
- Starts devices to test their performance.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment.
- Will do both electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Will have to identify items and parts to be ordered.
- Perform any job assigned by the supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or GED
- At least 5 years of related experience and/or training

- Employees must regularly stand, climb stairs and ladders, walk, and use their hands for tasks such as handling and feeling. They are also expected to reach with their hands and arms, and to communicate by speaking and listening.
Additionally, employees frequently need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. They should be capable of lifting and/or moving up to 80 pounds regularly, and occasionally lifting and/or moving more than 80 pounds.
- In summary, employees are consistently required to stand, walk, manipulate objects, and reach. They must also possess the necessary vision capabilities to effectively carry out their responsibilities.
- Employees are to participate in all required training. Employees are to keep all their training current and up to date.

Education, Experience, and Certifications- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and three to five years of related experience and/or training
