Field Service Technician

Insight Global is searching for a Field Service Technician to support one of our best clients in Carlsbad, NM. We are looking for skilled electro-mechanical individuals who have experience troubleshooting and working on VRU's (Vapor Recovery Units). This individual will support our clients' Permian Basin operations. Our client currently has two open roles for their day shift (7am-7pm MST). One of these shifts does require weekend work.

The other will will also be required to work one weekend per month.

Our client is a natural gas compression service company specializing in compressor packaging, sales and leasing with operations in 3 states in the US and overseas for about 20 E&P clients.

As a field Technician about 50% of your day will be spent driving to various locations in the Permian Basin to do preventative maintenance and electrical troubleshooting. Majority of the time the call outs you go to will be an electrical issue. In this role you will be responsible for basic maintenance and advanced troubleshooting and repair of compressor units. We are seeking people who have a high level of attention to detail, organization, and safety wherewithal.

Majority of the work will be conducted in the field with minimal supervision. Success in this role will require great communication skills, excellent customer service and the ability to complete tasks effectively. The position does range from entry level to expert level, so we invite all to apply.
