Security Officer Mining Facility

Allied Universal -  -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Control entry and exit at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing and collecting credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized traffic to designated areas;
Monitor alarms, radios, phones, and camera systems as assigned, and report unusual activity, access issues, and/or policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting evacuation, accountability, and coordination with on-site response personnel at an industrial location;
Conduct regular and random patrols of operational areas, perimeter lines, and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity, with working environments and conditions varying by post assignment
