We are seeking an experienced Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team at a Level 3 Trauma Center. This high-acuity, fast-paced environment demands clinical excellence, confidence, and critical thinking. The RN is responsible for providing direct, safe, and compassionate patient care using the nursing process in compliance with hospital policies and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:Perform focused patient assessments and respond promptly to changing conditions
Administer medications safely and monitor for adverse reactions
Accurately document all aspects of care and patient response
Supervise and delegate duties to assigned personnel
Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards
Participate in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives
Utilize sound clinical judgment and leadership in emergency situations
Qualifications:Active RN license (NM or compact state)
Minimum 2 years’ recent Emergency Room experience required
Certifications Required:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Certifications Preferred:
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
Scheduling & Time Off:Scheduling Format: 6-week blocks
