Shift: 12-Hour Days | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Medical-Surgical assignment at a facility in Carlsbad, New Mexico
. This is a day shift position (6:30a–7:00p) with floating and call required
. The Med-Surg RN will provide care to adult patients and may occasionally work with non-critical pediatric patients.

Unit: General Medical-Surgical

Number of Beds: 42

EMR: Med Host

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to adult and occasional pediatric patients.

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Maintain patient safety and confidentiality in all aspects of care.

Comply with hospital policies and procedures.

Be prepared to float to similar units and respond to call requirements.

Minimum Experience: 2+ years recent Med-Surg RN experience

Licensure: Active RN license (NM or Compact)

Certifications

Required:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

Certifications Preferred: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Fingerprinting required for all NM travel RNs

Blocked scheduling may be available (must be requested at time of submittal)

48-hour guarantees are NOT approved
