RN - PACU

Days, 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM with call rotation required.

The Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care to Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) patients, working closely with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Surgical staff, and other personnel. This role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in the planning and delivery of patient care while adhering to the state Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and Hospital policies and procedures.

• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with established protocols.
• Demonstrate clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.
• Offer direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant clinical setting.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience in general, orthopedics, OB/GYN, podiatry, plastics, endoscopy, and trauma care is necessary.
