RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM

• 13-week assignment starting ASAP

• Floating and call required (call requirement: 2 hours prior to shift start minimum)

• 2+ years of emergency department experience required

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC

• Preferred certifications: ENPC and NRP

• Patient ratio: 4:1

• Work in Level 3 Trauma Emergency Department

• Full uniform required (no specific scrub color)

• EMR system:
Med Host (EDIS)

• 6-week scheduling with maximum 1 RTO per schedule

• Required holidays: 1 Summer and 1 Winter dependent on department needs

• Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers

• Provide comprehensive emergency room patient care utilizing the nursing process

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and leadership in patient care planning

• Perform thorough patient assessments and effectively communicate findings

• Administer medications and monitor for side effects

• Maintain detailed patient care documentation

• Delegate patient care priorities and supervise assigned personnel
