• Assignment Duration: 12 months+

  14/14 Rotation

• Technicians are assigned to carry out maintenance work
• Assists engineers in the planning and testing of mechanical components, environmental, equipment, and machinery, such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc.
• Assist Operations on an as needed basis in equipment startup, operation, and repair
• Assist I&E and Mechanics on an as needed basis with trouble shooting and repair of plant systems
• Help prepare proposals and cost estimates
• Actively participate in the use of all on the job safety tools
• Review job packs
• Identify any safety issues associated with job end and ensure removal/mitigation prior to working
• Ability to prioritize, plan, and execute assigned work inside of scheduling deadlines
• Record technical history as required by workgroup. (Global Reliability Tool (GRT), data sheet, etc.)
• Provide feedback on job pack improvements to Execution FLS
• Create permits and notify Supervisor if permit cannot be issued within 30 minutes of requested time
• Maintain facility roads abd grouns (may include the use of heavy equipment)

• 10+ years if closely related field experience
• Discipline appropriate certification(s) if applicable or equivalent professional experience
• Experience in maintaining Caterpillar 3516 ULB, Caterpillar 3616 A4, Ariel reciprocating compressor JGT, JGC, KBZ frame maintenance.
  
  Diaphragm, centrifugal charge pumps, triplex, horizontal pump maintenance. Sullair, Atlas Copco rotary screw air compressors. Vapor recovery unit maintenance, natural gas rotary screw compressors. Lifting and rigging experience, operation of overhead cranes, operation of crane trucks
• Crane or equipment certifications a plus
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
  
  Strong communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely describe conditions in the field and recommend remediation steps

  Team Player; exhibits effective teamwork when working with persons over whom the person may have no direct authority and willingness to assist others
• Natural gas compressor station operation experience is a plus
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
