Title: Inventory & Receiving Coordinator

Status: Full-time, Non-exempt

Location/Site:

Hours: Monday – Friday

Reports to: Area Manager

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Position Overview

The Inventory & Receiving Coordinator maintains and oversees the company's inventory and parts ordering and receiving. They are responsible for the organization of the parts and inventory storage and accuracy of the inventory counts on a monthly basis for the assigned area(s). They will be required to utilize the company's custom software solution for tracking inventory consumption through Field Operations work orders, as well as submitting and receiving parts requests within the software system.

Their duties may include negotiating contracts with local service providers, ordering, inventory, and inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations and coordinating any renovations and updates.

Responsibilities Inventory Services
  • Managing inventory and filing systems
  • Performing complete inventory checks of all stock and supplies
  • Assessing and improving flows of supplies internally and with vendors/suppliers.
  • Ensuring all documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate and filed correctly.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and addressing gaps in inventory processes.
  • Prepare reports on inventory consumption and status to Area Manager(s) as requested
  • Submit accurate inventory & parts requests in a timely fashion
Facility Support
  • Participate as a key team member in responses to emergency situations.
  • Handle coordination of minor repair service(s) when needed.
  • Conduct monthly checks of stock inventory (cleaning supplies, facility bathroom stock, etc)
  • Participate and ensure that our services and activities are in compliance with contract(s)
  • Attend to critical work and complete closure within the specified time
  • Ensure timely close-out of work requests
Requirements
  • High School Grad; or GED
  • Valid driver's license and strong driving safety record (no more than 2 moving violations in previous 3 years).
  • Acceptable background check, clear of DWI convictions, for the last 5 years.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration within and between department(s)
  • Intermediate Language Skills Mathematical Skills and Intermediate Reasoning Ability.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain deadlines.
  • Ability to build solid working relationships with customers, vendors, and interface with associates through out Water Fleet.
  • Ability to exercise privacy and respect for housed employees' belongings
Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Inventory, tools and equipment related to managing a multi-site support facility
  • Experience in developing and managing inventory and analyzing costs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point and other computer skills required
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information
  • The ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks
