Job Description

Delivery personnel responsible for stocking ingredients, preparing product, processing orders, maintaining equipment, and delivering products to customers.

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver product by car to customer door; deliver flyers and door hangers.

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Pass a background check and maintain open availability.

Orientation and training provided on the job.

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, and to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers over the phone and in person. Ability to train and lead.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator). Must be able to make correct monetary change. Need strong verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Motor coordination for rapid and accurate movements, computer keyboard or touch‑screen proficiency, and cost‑control maintenance. Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area, including multi‑story buildings and private homes.

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather during outdoor tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler to 90°F+ in some work areas.
• Fumes from food odors and exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Operation near hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
• Physical demands: standing, walking short distances, carrying, lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs or ladders intermittently, bending, squatting, and reaching.
