Join our Government Secure Network Systems (SNS) team as a full-stack software engineer developing networking and cybersecurity products for a diverse customer base. You will join a dynamic, multi-functional team that not only develops applications but also designs, tests, and supports their services. You will develop software to support seamless management of networking and cybersecurity products and emerging cryptographic solutions.
This role will enable you to gain comprehensive experience in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle, from initial design through successful implementation and ongoing support. You will collaborate closely with product management, product support, and UX design teams as new capabilities are developed, ensuring flawless delivery of services that meet high standards. Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain web applications using modern backend and frontend technologies
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, test, and deploy new features
* Write secure, maintainable, and efficient code
* Participate in team reviews and actively contribute to continuous improvement
* Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies
* Maintain APIs and front-end libraries
* Use Linux OS for development environments
* Plan, track, and report on progress
* Work within Agile Scrum and CI/CD software development processes
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
* Minimum 2 years of Kotlin or Java experience writing production code for web applications
* Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Spring and/or Spring Boot
* Experience with reactive programming concepts
* Experience using Postgre
SQL or similar database technologies
* Experience with automated unit and integration testing
* Experience with performance testing
* US citizenship and active SECRET or TOP SECRET security clearance required
* Ability to travel up to 10%
